Ink Spill #50

A need to be covered.

All things were created in pairs: the day paired with night, the sun paired with the moon, a male paired with the female, all completing each other.

A world with only the sun is a world on fire, a world with only the moon is a world of darkness. It’s in the balance of things that comes life.

So seek your balance, seek courtship. And to the ones sworn to a life of ONE, you might envision your better life flying solo, though for how long?

One wing won’t get you off the ground. It’s only with the two that you can reach new heights.

A partner is like your cloth. They give you warmth, provide you dignity, cover your flaws, and adds beauty to your life.

A single life is an unclothed life, cold, insecure, without shelter.

A heart unsettled, only with courtship will it find peace.
