Ink Spill #48

What is one called to do upon endless atrocities?

Open the black-boxed screen, a window to a skewed world, blasting altered ‘TRUTH’, but what is a LIE except for a disfigured REALITY?

The screen echoes screams, screams of horror, cursed atrocities against the screeching heart of humanity.

Eyes staring at screens, burning at the sight of pure EVIL, until the eyes go blind, EVIL now becomes a normal thing to behold.

Do we turn off the screens? Sledge the black box into smithereens, then throw it to the lowest pit known to man? or do we just keep looking?

Do we go out fixing the atrocities in the world? Do we close our hearts to it? Do we go out in the world screaming for JUSTICE? Do we gather whatever power we have and do all that we can?

What is one’s purpose when there are way TOO MANY atrocities around?

No one person holds the responsibility for FIXING the world.

But we, as humanity, have the collective responsibility of CARING for this world of ours. While you don’t have the POWERS to wave the world's problems away, YOU definitely have the POWERS to change something, even if little.

And that is your RESPONSIBILITY in the face of endless atrocities.
