Ink Spill #4

Injustice.

Do we believe in justice? as in if someone has transgressed the bounds of humanity, if someone has done us wrong, can they be ever brought to justice?

If someone has taken a life of your child, would taking their life means that justice has been served?

Because killing them won’t bring back your child into your life, you are forever changed, and your child is no longer, and what justice could you ever do to bring them back?

Even if we consider a life for a life as a form of justice, how about a person who took two? or the tyrant who slaughtered men, woman, and children in the masses? no matter how much we torture their wretched souls we’ll only be able to take revenge on one life against the many.

If we believe in justice, justice in the truest and purest sense, that for whatever transgression whether it was frighteningly horrific or was almost innocent, that all will be brought to justice and the transgressor will pay their due to the transgressed.

Then we must believe that there is a day of judgment, where everything since the dawn of the universe is recorded, and all deeds shall be answered for.
