Honoring one’s code.
In a world stripped from values, it’s rare to find individuals that still adhere to their own code.
Following a code, having values, being moral was once an admirable trait, a thing to look up to.
Now it seems that society wants change. out with the old in with the new.
And the new doesn’t include you.
Moral values are to be brought to question, to be slain at the center of townhall and have their corpse hang for all to see.
“Morality is a social construct, we’ve come to free you from the chains of the old, you are now free, DEATH TO MORALITY!”
And now to honor one’s code, a person must live as a stranger, an outcast not accepted by society, an old dinosaur meant to be buried in the rubbles and go extinct by the meteor of “social justice”.
They claim they’re being brave for standing for “social justice” but is it brave to stand while most are standing? What is brave but holding down on what you believe is true while the tides of society is trying to tear your limbs away from what is grounded in truth.
Oh how strange is it to be a stranger in a strange world?
Give glad tidings to the strangers, for they are the honorable ones.
